Institutional Partnership

Inspire lifelong learners and lovers of art

Since its founding in 1896, the Worcester Art Museum has been an institution of learning. The Museum prides itself on its connections with the educational community in Worcester and Central Massachusetts, from elementary schools to colleges and universities.

WAM’s Institutional Partnership program enables current students, faculty, and staff of partner institutions to visit the Museum free of charge when they present a valid student, faculty, or staff ID upon entry. The Institutional Partnership program allows admission to the Museum during all regular visiting hours, free tickets to talks, and a 10% discount on studio art classes. In addition, many Institutional Partners schedule tours, utilize our galleries and collection for classes and courses, and even partner with the Museum on special exhibitions and events.

Benefits for students, faculty, and staff (with valid ID):
  • Free admission to WAM galleries during regular Museum hours *
  • Free tickets to talks
  • 10% discount on studio art classes
Participating institutions enjoy the following benefits:
  • Opportunities to work with the Museum’s Learning and Engagement Department on programs to fit your curricular needs
  • Free docent-led tours for institutional groups
  • Marketing of partnership, including exposure in access magazine, on our website, and through other Museum channels

* Not valid during Flora in Winter or special events / exhibition openings. To enjoy free access to special events like Flora in Winter and After Hours, consider an Individual Membership.
