A Baseball-themed Community Day

Join in the fun as WAM celebrates the last day of the exhibition, The Iconic Jersey: Baseball x Fashion!
10am–3pm: Photo opportunities with a Red Sox World Series Trophy!
12–2pm: Photo opportunities with Wally the Green Monster!
1pm and 1:45pm: Dick Flavin, Poet Laureate of the Red Sox, reads Casey at the Bat and some of his original work.
11am and 3pm: Drop-In Studio Art Activities and Art Carts.
11am and 1pm: Docent Tours of The Iconic Jersey: Baseball x Fashion
11:30am and 1pm: Matt Tavares Baseball Story Time* with WAM Librarian, Rebecca Morin. Join us as we explore a few of Matt Tavares' marvelous baseball themed children's books. Selections include: Zachary's Ball, Mudball, and Oliver's Game!
* Limited to 20 participants for each story.
11:30am–3pm: The Grub Guru Food Truck serves traditional baseball fare in the Tuckerman Street parking lot.
12–3pm: Worcester Jazz Collective and Sam Adams Beer Garden, in the Stoddard Courtyard.
In addition, vintage baseball players from area teams, including the Woodstock (CT) Hilltoppers will be onsite. They will demonstrate the origins of America's Pastime by playing by the rules of the 1860s and wearing period style uniforms.
