About the artist
David Wesley White is a conceptual artist, born and raised in Worcester County, Massachusetts. He earned a BFA from Parsons School of Design and an MFA from the University of California, Santa Barbara. David employs his skills in oil painting, sculpture, video, and performance to create work that is inspired by the queer experience, history, and current events. His course offerings at the Worcester Art Museum often challenge students to explore their own unique life experiences to create compelling art. His work has been exhibited in Massachusetts, New York City, and Southern California.
