Worcester Art Museum is excited to again host a regional Youth Art Month this year
In addition to the MAEA statewide YAM exhibit to be held at the Transportation Building in Boston, Youth Art Month will be celebrated at the Cotuit Center for the Arts on Cape Cod, the Worcester Art Museum in Central Massachusetts, and in Berkshire County. This means students will have the opportunity to participate in up to four exhibits this year all over the state!
These are wonderful opportunities to make the public aware of the importance of quality art programs in our schools!

The exhibit will be open to the public March 1 – 31, 2019 in the Higgins Education Wing. Admission to this exhibit is free.
Opening Reception: Sunday, March 3, 2019, 12:30-2:30pm
Young artists will be recognized for their creative work, with the opportunity to view the exhibition, meet other area artists and teachers, and enjoy a guest speaker and student musical performances.
About Youth Art Month
Organized by a committee of teachers in conjunction with the Worcester Art Museum. This will be a regional exhibit, open to the districts in and around Worcester. Drop off will be at the Worcester Art Museum (please see submission guide for dates and times). This year each teacher may submit up to 4 works at no cost, regardless of MAEA membership. All work meeting exhibit requirements will be accepted.
