Salisbury Giving Society

A Salisbury Giving Society dinner event in a European gallery

By being a part of the Salisbury Giving Society, you join other committed Members who take a leadership role in supporting the Museum. Gifts of $1,500 and greater provide the cornerstone of the Museum’s annual giving program, strengthening and enhancing our exhibitions, educational programs, classes, and conservation work. Your gift through the Salisbury Giving Society is a powerful and compelling way to ensure that the Museum continues its long tradition of using our collections to foster discovery and delight for all. You also enjoy meaningful access to exhibitions, curators, and the Museum Director; opportunities for private tours at other cultural institutions; and the ability to share WAM with your family and friends.

We stand on the shoulders of those who came before us, and if not for the founders of WAM and its current supporters, we would not have such a significant cultural institution in Worcester. It takes a lot to maintain the building and its climate-controlled storage, along with restoration and acquisition. If we want a world-class city, it is vital to support this world-class museum.

WAM has been one of the iconic institutions in Worcester that we have come to love and enjoy. The world-class collection is breathtaking! The meticulously curated exhibitions are just amazing and current. WAM always manages to have a little bit of something for everyone regardless of who you are or where you’re from. We realize that in order to fulfill WAM’s mission statement, we need to be active participants in order to further enrich the Worcester community and beyond.

When a donor accepts non-incidental benefits in return for their contribution, the non-tax-deductible portion is $180 for the Young Patron, Patron and Curator Circle levels ($750 – $4,999) and $300 for Director’s Circle and above ($5,000+). For a full tax-deduction, all benefits must be declined in writing to the Museum.  Donors who recommend a gift through a donor-advised fund automatically decline non-incidental benefits unless they notify the Museum and make arrangements to receive specific benefits.
