Members of the media who wish to film or take photography inside the Worcester Art Museum must be accompanied by a member of the Marketing Department. During photo shoots, we ask that all free-standing film and lighting equipment be properly weighted and all electrical cords taped. Published images of WAM and its collections must be accompanied by appropriate credit lines. Site visits or pre-filming/photography meetings may be requested to assess the physical requirements and restrictions. View list of approved photography equipment (PDF 51KB).
Photography requests for non-editorial purposes (i.e. commercial use, academic reports, books, etc.) should be emailed to the WAM’s Image Management department: firstname.lastname@example.org. Requests for filming or photography not related to the permanent or temporary exhibitions (i.e. commercials, movies, etc.) are also handled by Image Management department.
